The restaurant was well lit and had a surprising amount of seating space. I had the regular hand pulled beef noodles and they were very authentic. Looking forward to trying the other dishes next time. Friendly staff and a very comforting meal overall. Update: came back for the biang biang mian and braised beef noodles. Still 5 stars! ”
“ Nice little Noodle Restaurant in Downtown Ottawa. Stopped in for Lunch on a typical cold January day. Ordered the Braised Beef Noodle and the Hand Pulled Beef Noodle. Both were incredible. Broth was so flavorful and the Noodles were delicious. Both dishes were packed with meat. If you want leaner Beef go with the Hand Pulled Beef Noodle but if you like fattier pieces of Beef go with the Braised Beef Noodle. No need to get extra Noodles. Table has Chili Oil so I was able to add my own to get the perfect amount of heat. Excellent service in a small little Restaurant. Would highly recommend. ”
“ Plenty of seating here and everything is very bright and comfy inside. The pickled cabbage noodle was good and the portion size was good but Le Mein is slightly larger with more noodles. The hand pulled noodles is very much on par with Le Mein and AAA and very fresh. I like that their menu has more of a variety of choices while still being reasonably priced. The other noodle bowl we had was the chili oil noodle bowl and it was amazing! Def getting that next time as it’s not super spicy just note it doesn’t come with meat so you will need to add meat or extra veggies. So glad I finally tried this place! ”
“ For those ordering takeout: of the thin (Xi) noodles, two/Er Xi is the thickest, Xi is thinner, three Xi is in the middle All I can say is Wow! Seems to be family- run. We ordered and were served two fragrant bowls of noodle soup in about five minutes during the lunch rush. Definitely something you can grab during the workday. My friend got the small beef noodle pictured below, which was like 14, I got the braised beef noodles for about 17 and was a big portion. Broth was amazing. The noodles were hand pulled and amazingly bouncy in texture. The braised beef was succulent and fatty. The interior is clean and aesthetically pleasing. Service was friendly. Street parking nearby ”
“ They have so many delicious noodle dishes to choose from. Tried their famous Braised Beef Noodles. You can choose how thick you want your noodles. Hand pooled noodles and a large portion. The broth was also delicious and I added some chilli oil to it to give it some added flavour. ”
